Door without a handle!

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3 : 20

Good morning, friends. I got the following from the Internet.

A famous painter painted a beautiful picture of Jesus knocking at a closed door. He showed it to his friends. They pointed out a defect in the painting. The door in the picture had no visible handle or latch to open it. The painter said, "The door has no handle outside. It can be opened only from the inside. It represents our heart."

This message teaches us that Jesus is knocking at the door of our heart, awaiting our invitation to enter and be with us. It is said that though God is omnipotent and omnipresent, the human mind is a special place where He enters only with our consent. He has granted us the freedom to frame our attitude to Him. Let us open the doors of our heart and greet our Lord with pleasure. Let us seek His blessings and request Him to purify our heads, hearts, hands and habits.

Confusing gospel

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. Incredible kindness!

Do not neglect doing good and sharing; for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16 Good morning, friends! He was a seller of second-hand shoes. He seemed to be in his 70’s, and was so tired as nobody was buying his shoes. Then, a little girl came to him saying, " Sir, may I polish your shoes?" The old man took pity on her, smiled and gave her a shoe to polish. The girl said, "I polish the shoe because I need money to buy my brother a new school uniform." The old man replied, "Oh, little girl just stop doing this. Come with me and I will buy a uniform." Then they walked to a store and he bought a uniform.
