Even my simple desires!

What is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that You care for them? Psalms 8 : 4

Good morning, friends. It’s the time to think about God’s another characteristic. He cares for us! Below is just an incident that happened to my friend.

It crossed the regular office timing, so I and my fellowship hurried up to board a late evening shuttle. By the time we reached the parking space, the bus was full. So we just walked outside of our campus. Then suddenly we planned to have dinner at a hotel. I have eaten fish fry only a very handful number of times in my lifetime. I ordered the fish fry. But after it was served, I was not able to eat it and so I packed it up to my room. I boarded a bus after the dinner where I met another friend.

Before I got down at my stop, I handled the parcel to her and reached my home. The very next morning during our fellowship time, she shared her testimony that she wanted to have fish the previous night. But she didn’t have time to go out. The rest of the story, you know!

This may sound silly, eating fish is not really an important need in one’s life. But who are we that He is mindful of us? Why should He care for even our silly desire? It’s amazing to see how God provides us what we wanted. My needs have been met by Him innumerable times even before I knew I needed them. Isn’t it surprising that God, the Maker of heaven and Earth takes much care of you?

    My everyday needs are met by our Lord! I can keep adding.Without Him we can't survive. As David says He sustains us.

    Dear sis,
    There are many silly desires that my LORD had and has been fullfilling till date. I listed down some to share with you,
    1. During college days, I have yearned to talk fluently and pray fluently in English. However I could not, cos I was scared thinking, what if I spoke wrong? I used to pray my personal prayer in English telling GOD that I would practise this way. (I shall make my testimony shorter ;)) The LORD granted me a job where I was suppose to talk continuously in English and I was selected for it amongst 50 people who spoke English like breathing.
    2. While in college I had a desire to join WIPRO. I just gave a shout to the LORD (not even a proper prayer) that I would like to join there. My first job was with WIPRO and I did not realise that it was the answer to my shout unto the LORD till HE spoke to me that it was what I wanted.
    3. I used to be very thin till my college days and people use to make fun of me because of the way I look. I was always looked down upon, never been regarded at all. I use to cry unto the LORD to make me a little fat. The LORD answered this prayer of mine too.
    4. There are many instances where the LORD would be talking to me through a verse, but I may not the scripture portion correctly. Within 1 or 2 days, HE has always shown the correct scripture portion.

    There are many many many more prayers or mine that got answered. I praise GOD for it and I thank you for giving me this oppurtunity to share.

    Hi Jansi,

    Today In my job, I was stuck with some serious issues. Not knowing what to do, I just prayed God after almost four hours of my struggle. Immediately after five min, God helped in a miraculous way. Praise The Lord.

Your protective shade!

The LORD Himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.  Psalm 121 : 5 I know it has been a very long time since I have sent God’s Word to you. Since this is the first email in 2014, I have been waiting to send you either my personal testimony or one of my friends’ testimonies. I have drafted several emails, but didn’t send anything. Today, I am not able to keep quiet when I think about what God has done for me over last weekend. If it is God’s will I will meet you again with a wonderful testimony of my friend, while I am sending mine to you now. Many of you know a bit about me. I traveled onsite in the year 2010 and returned to India for good in July, 2013. I got married in August, 2013 (this itself is a separate testimony) and started going to office from September, 2013. Be on guard; stay alert!

Mark 8 : 36 With all the fun and timeout I had with my husband as we spent about 9 days in Kerala, I had trouble in sleeping last but the previous night because of restless legs. I know it would go if I ate few bananas, but I didn’t get up as I felt lazy. I did whatever I could, to sleep, but I only slept after several hours. I had a dream/vision like never before. It was very scary. Even now I am filled with what I saw that night. I don’t know how I can write about it, but I will try. I am not saying that I am a saint and God showed me this for some reason.
