Helping at any cost!

Give, and it shall be given unto you; .....For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6:38

Very Good Morning.

I hope many of us are familiar with Mr. Bean(probably in Pogo channel). He is a humorous character, liked by many of us(especially kids). Yesterday while watching his film, I saw one thing which is more funnier of course, but highly thought provoking.

Mr. Bean walks along the road. He saw a beggar playing a musical instrument and collecting money from the people. Mr. Bean seas a man giving a coin to the beggar. So he too wishes to give him something. But he doesn't have change. So he thinks for a while and then he takes his hand kerchief and places it on the road and starts dancing. It seems as if the beggar sings and Mr. Bean dances for him. A man comes that way. He saw Mr. Bean dancing so seriously, then he takes some penny and lends it onto Mr. Bean's hand kerchief and goes away. Then Mr. Bean bends and takes the penny and gives it to the beggar and makes his own way...

It is so nice to watch that. Even though it might have taken just for fun, the thing which we have to notice is "Giving others" at any cost. There is nothing wrong in giving others what they need. Having this precious life, we have to earn more hearts, just like Jesus earned a lots and lots of hearts by His care and Love. Life is good only when it is lived for others too. The help which we do, may be small for us. But it will be everything to those who are in need. Help and be helped.

Incredible kindness!

Do not neglect doing good and sharing; for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16  Good morning, friends! He was a seller of second-hand shoes. He seemed to be in his 70’s, and was so tired as nobody was buying his shoes. Then, a little girl came to him saying, " Sir, may I polish your shoes?" The old man took pity on her, smiled and gave her a shoe to polish. The girl said, "I polish the shoe because I need money to buy my brother a new school uniform." The old man replied, "Oh, little girl just stop doing this. Come with me and I will buy a uniform." Then they walked to a store and he bought a uniform. This act of incredible kindness, shown by someone who has so little for himself, proclaims an ultimate truth. The Bible talks a lot about showing kindness. A few sample verses are given below. “Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the f...

Lazarus' Deliverer

Because He himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18 Easter is the most special day in the history that gave hope to the mankind! Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary was dead four days before Jesus reached Bethany. Jesus loved that family and they loved him as well. He was not there when Lazarus was sick. Lazarus was buried when Jesus reached Bethany. His sisters were weeping. Jesus also wept. They told Jesus, “Lord, if you have been here, Lazarus would not have died.” They moved on to Lazarus’ tomb. There was a stone across the entrance. Surely there was bad odor. Yet, Jesus said, “Take away the stone. If you believed, you would see the glory of God.” He prayed and there came Lazarus alive with his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” God’s love is the same toward everyone! He doesn’t show favoritism. He love...

Confusing gospel

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! Galatians 1 : 6 – 9 Good morning, friends. Today let us see about something which I heard from a pastor on Sunday. And kindly please read even though it’s long. We all should be aware of it certainly. Before that, here comes a funny incident. After a worship service at Church, a mother with a fidgety seven-year-old boy told me how she finally got her son to sit still and be quiet. About halfway through the sermon, she leaned over and whisper...
