Kindness extended

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7 : 12

Good morning, friends.

A little boy got angry with his mother and shouted at her, "I hate you, I hate you." Because of fear of reprimand, he ran out of the house. He went up to the valley and shouted, "I hate you, I hate you," and back came the echo, "I hate you, I hate you." This was the first time in his life he had heard an echo. He got scared, went to his mother for protection and said there was a bad boy in the valley who shouted "I hate you, I hate you." The mother understood and she asked her son to go back and shout, "I love you, I love you." The little boy went and shouted, "I love you, I love you," and back came the echo. That taught the little boy a lesson that our life is like an echo: We get back what we give. Benjamin Franklin said, "When you are good to others, you are best to yourself."

Jesus clearly asks us not to judge others and instead He asks us to extend kindness in Matthew 7. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle which you may not be aware of. May God bless!

Lazarus' Deliverer

Because He himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18 Easter is the most special day in the history that gave hope to the mankind! Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary was dead four days before Jesus reached Bethany. Jesus loved that family and they loved him as well. He was not there when Lazarus was sick. The LORD Himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. Psalm 121 : 5 I know it has been a very long time since I have sent God’s Word to you. Since this is the first email in 2014, I have been waiting to send you either my personal testimony or one of my friends’ testimonies. I have drafted several emails, but didn’t send anything. Today, I am not able to keep quiet when I think about what God has done for me over last weekend. If it is God’s will I will meet you again with a wonderful testimony of my friend, while I am sending mine to you now. Many of you know a bit about me. I traveled onsite in the year 2010 and returned to India for good in July, 2013. I got married in August, 2013 (this itself is a separate testimony) and started going to office from September, 2013. I have not touched enough my new personal laptop I would say. As my roommate’s husband came here to be with her this weekend and as he didn’t bring his laptop and as they both thought to work from home today, they needed another laptop. She asked me whether she could use mine for today and I don’t know why I was hesitant to say okay, but then somehow I handed it to them and called one of my colleagues to walk with me toward office. He is not working in my project, but then I was just telling about a question which my client manager has asked me last evening. I came up with many complex things to answer her this morning, but during our conversation he just spoke one simple line. It was highly non-technical.
