Wanna spread EAFLU? Part VI

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7 : 12

Good morning, friends. Let us read about the last letter ‘U’ today. It’s nothing but ‘Understand.’ The following is narrated by someone on Emotional Intelligence.

One day I was trying to get a defective product replaced before I started a trip overseas. I made several phone calls and tried to explain the situation several times to several different people. I kept getting passed around from one department to another. People kept debating with me and telling me what the company policies were without listening to me. No one seemed to understand or care that it was important to me that the product be replaced before I left for my trip. I was feeling more and more frustrated, even exasperated. Finally I found someone who understood what I was trying to say and what I needed. I could literally feel the tension releasing from my body. I thought to myself," Finally. Someone who understands!" I realized then how important understanding was.

Now you could have realized how understanding is needed. In any argues, you can hear people saying, “Please try to understand me.” That is when the people explicitly tell others that they have to be understood. In judicial courts, we see the accused getting chances to explain his situation that caused him to go wring. The pathetic situation with us is many times, we always stay at a point where we leave no place for others to explain things to us and so we don’t spend our times in understanding them. In short, we always judge others even before we know the truth. Remember if you judge someone, you can never understand them. While the accused gets a chance to explain him, why don’t you give a few more chances to your friends, your family members and beloveds?

My grandfather and my grandmother love me so much. In fact when I was young almost all my vacations were spent in their home. No other dares to stay there as it’s a village, but I loved to stay there and serve them. I always expected when my vacation would start to go there. One incident happened when I was doing my Engineering and that broke the relationship. They told some statements against my father (their son-in-law) to defend their son. I was not able to forgive them. But as years passed by, I forgot what they did to us, instead remembered how much they loved me before. As they are getting older, they now don’t remember what happened exactly. But one thing they know for sure that we’re here and we would go and meet them when we get time.

‘F’orgiveness and ‘U’nderstand go hand in hand. Do you want someone to explain themselves to understand them? Friends, not always you’ll get a chance to hear them asking for forgiveness. Give up your ego. Just try to understand people even if they don’t confess things to you.

The world is craving for love. If you’re lacking in any of these five, Encouragement, Appreciation, Forgiveness, Listening and Understanding, just workout something to possess them. I’ll show you a shortcut to it. You can win the whole world by practicing what the Holy Bible says. I’m able to feel that the entire ‘Be attitude’, in other words ‘Sermon on the mount’ Matthew 5, 6 and 7 collectively speaks about all these qualities. Kindly take some time to read these three chapters, by which you can get a good idea on how to possess them all and to inherit Eternal Kingdom.

May God bless you all!

Lazarus' Deliverer

Because He himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18 Easter is the most special day in the history that gave hope to the mankind! Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary was dead four days before Jesus reached Bethany. Jesus loved that family and they loved him as well. He was not there when Lazarus was sick. Lazarus was buried when Jesus reached Bethany. His sisters were weeping. Jesus also wept. They told Jesus, “Lord, if you have been here, Lazarus would not have died.” They moved on to Lazarus’ tomb. There was a stone across the entrance. Surely there was bad odor. Yet, Jesus said, “Take away the stone. If you believed, you would see the glory of God.” He prayed and there came Lazarus alive with his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” God’s love is the same toward everyone! He doesn’t show favoritism. He love...

Your protective shade!

The LORD Himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.  Psalm 121 : 5 I know it has been a very long time since I have sent God’s Word to you. Since this is the first email in 2014, I have been waiting to send you either my personal testimony or one of my friends’ testimonies. I have drafted several emails, but didn’t send anything. Today, I am not able to keep quiet when I think about what God has done for me over last weekend. If it is God’s will I will meet you again with a wonderful testimony of my friend, while I am sending mine to you now. Many of you know a bit about me. I traveled onsite in the year 2010 and returned to India for good in July, 2013. I got married in August, 2013 (this itself is a separate testimony) and started going to office from September, 2013. Since I had my visa valid for 2 more years I had been asked to take up an onsite assignment and was not offered a project at offshore. I had some concerns in traveli...

Cling on to Him!

Hi friends, You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the people. Psalm 77:14 Glad to greet you all today with another testimony! I have not touched enough my new personal laptop I would say. As my roommate’s husband came here to be with her this weekend and as he didn’t bring his laptop and as they both thought to work from home today, they needed another laptop. She asked me whether she could use mine for today and I don’t know why I was hesitant to say okay, but then somehow I handed it to them and called one of my colleagues to walk with me toward office. He is not working in my project, but then I was just telling about a question which my client manager has asked me last evening. I came up with many complex things to answer her this morning, but during our conversation he just spoke one simple line. It was highly non-technical. But God gave me a very good hint from his line and I was able to come up with a pretty simple logic which the client gladly ...
