Jehovah Jireh!!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Good morning, friends! I'm here with a testimony.

After returning from office, I was searching for my personal laptop at my house and I didn't find it for a while. Here the maintenance people can come in anytime even when we're not present. But they are trustworthy. So I didn't worry because I knew that I should have misplaced it today. Then I realized how much I'm trusting even the people whom I have never known before.

Many times I worry too much about what will happen to me in the future. But Bible asks me not to lean on my own understanding. I know I will first try out all the possible ways on my own strength before leaning on the Lord. When everything fails me, as I have no other go, I would submit myself and my cares on Him.

It was just a day before I started from Nashville I got a confirmation that I need to move to Minneapolis. I didn't even have enough time for packing my things. I knew no one to help me out with the accommodation. To all the advertisements I posted, I got responses from guys. I'm not too rigid that I would not speak to the other gender, but I am not too modern to share the accommodation with a guy. One of my college seniors with whom I never had a contact for more than 5 years sent me a friend request on FaceBook. After I accepted it, I found out that she stays in Minneapolis with her family. I was surprised and through her husband's friend, I got settled in a house now.

My colleagues started scolding me for choosing this apartment as it would not be possible at all to walk even a single step during Winter as it would start snowing continuously. I don't have my own transportation to office. This troubled me a lot. I attended a family retreat one weekend where I met a few people who also work for the same client and they also stay closer to my apartment. Now they come and pick me up to work. I also return with them. Both my accommodation and the transportation needs were met so sooner, even before I actually prayed.

Isn't it wonderful that God does care about every single detail of our lives? Even before we know that we would need something, God provides it. Remember Elijah was fed by a raven when he was starving. In my life I've come across many ravens who would God bring to the people who are in need. To my eyes it is always surprising when I think of the ways how God leads me in spite of all my weaknesses.

When the next time you think about the problems that threaten you, just make a decision to trust the Lord no matter how bad the situations appear. Don't lean on your own understanding. Remind yourself that all things will work together for good! Worrying can worse the situations. Replace your worries by the joy of the Lord because it alone is our strength. You'll find perfect peace seeing what God does for you!

May God bless you!

Your protective shade!

The LORD Himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.  Psalm 121 : 5 I know it has been a very long time since I have sent God’s Word to you. Since this is the first email in 2014, I have been waiting to send you either my personal testimony or one of my friends’ testimonies. I have drafted several emails, but didn’t send anything. Today, I am not able to keep quiet when I think about what God has done for me over last weekend. If it is God’s will I will meet you again with a wonderful testimony of my friend, while I am sending mine to you now. Many of you know a bit about me. I traveled onsite in the year 2010 and returned to India for good in July, 2013. I got married in August, 2013 (this itself is a separate testimony) and started going to office from September, 2013. Since I had my visa valid for 2 more years I had been asked to take up an onsite assignment and was not offered a project at offshore. I had some concerns in traveling o

Lazarus' Deliverer

Because He himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18 Easter is the most special day in the history that gave hope to the mankind! Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary was dead four days before Jesus reached Bethany. Jesus loved that family and they loved him as well. He was not there when Lazarus was sick. Lazarus was buried when Jesus reached Bethany. His sisters were weeping. Jesus also wept. They told Jesus, “Lord, if you have been here, Lazarus would not have died.” They moved on to Lazarus’ tomb. There was a stone across the entrance. Surely there was bad odor. Yet, Jesus said, “Take away the stone. If you believed, you would see the glory of God.” He prayed and there came Lazarus alive with his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” God’s love is the same toward everyone! He doesn’t show favoritism. He love
